BERMONDSEY STREET FESTIVAL – SAFETY & SECURITY

Ahead of the upcoming Bermondsey Street Festival, officers from the local policing team and search officers have carried out proactive patrols and searches in parks and open spaces surrounding the festival footprint.

These searches form part of our wider work to help keep residents, visitors and festival-goers safe and to prevent offences before they happen.

👮 You may have seen officers carrying out searches in and around local parks, particularly in areas surrounding the festival site.

If you see something that concerns you, please speak to an officer or member of the event team.
